​Prof. Jing is a full professor at the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He is also the Director of the Center for Statistical Science, HKUST. He is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI). He is serving as Associate Editors for several journals: Canadian Journal of Statistics, Statistics and Its Interface, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Science in China, and Journal of Data Science. He has published over 80 research papers. He has wide research interests, including Probability and Statistics, Bioinformatics, Financial Econometrics, Machine Learning and Data Mining.
